I am very passionate about teaching self-defense! Everyone, female and male, young and old, people of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds, all religions, and all sexual orientations and gender identities should know how to stand up for themselves and defend themselves! My classes include essential information about how to avoid dangerous situations, how to speak up, set boundaries and be assertive in a wide range of common, every-day interactions, as well as powerful and effective verbal and physical self-defense skills to use in a wide range of dangerous situations. Be prepared to have fun and leave feeling more capable, more confident and empowered!
Please contact me and we can discuss all the details. I look forward to hearing from you!

*Jade offers a “thank you” to anyone who helps spread the word about these classes! For every person who attends the class who learned about the class from you, she will deduct $15 from your class fee. So, if you invite other mothers and daughters and two people sign up, she will deduct $30 from your class fee. 4 people, $60, etc. You could attend for free if 5 people sign up for the class! 5 x 15 equals $75!
Also, if one mother is attending with two or more daughters, and the cost becomes an obstacle to attending the class, she may pay for herself and one daughter and any additional daughters may attend for free.
Staff, volunteers or clients with the following agencies can attend for a reduced-fee: Verity, YWCA, Catholic Charities, COTS, the Living Room, any local residential treatment center and any homeless support agency.
Private Classes:
I offer private classes to individuals and groups (such as groups of friends, for schools, nonprofits and businesses/ corporations). Contact Jade for more information about options for private classes.
